Meets scores of public delegations at Nawa-e-Subha

Srinagar, May 04: Several delegations and party workers on Monday called on Ahsan Pardesi, Vice Provincial President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference and MLA Lal Chowk, at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subh.

The visiting delegations flagged a range of civic issues, including water scarcity, erratic electricity supply, ration shortages and rising unemployment among educated youth, saying these concerns have persisted for years.

They also appreciated Pardesi’s outreach and efforts to address local problems, particularly in improving basic infrastructure such as water supply, power, roads and ration distribution.

Responding to the grievances, Pardesi contacted concerned officials and sought immediate redressal of several issues.

Interacting with the delegations, he said the government led by Omar Abdullah remains committed to addressing public concerns and improving service delivery.
