Srinagar, July 18: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Thursday visited the bereaved family of Muhammad Sultan, who recently passed away, at Tailbal in Shalimar, Srinagar.
Accompanied by Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq and his Political Advisor Mudassar Shahmiri, Omar offered heartfelt condolences and recited fatiha for the departed soul. Together they prayed for peace and tranquility to envelop the departed soul in the highest echelons of the Jannat, the party said in a statement, adding that Publicity Secretary Mir GM Saqi also accompanied the leaders.
Meanwhile, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah have extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to party functionary Khawaja Ghulam Mustafa Shah on the demise of his wife.
The duo prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of Jannat and much-needed fortitude to the bereaved household. Among others, Nasir Aslam Wani, Tanvir Sadiq, Muhammad Syed Akhoon, and Pir Afaq Ahmad also expressed condolence with the bereaved family.
