Jammu, Sept 22:BJP National President JP Nadda claimed on Sunday that the National Conference (NC) and Congress are colluding with Pakistan to push Jammu and Kashmir towards unrest and revive terrorism. Addressing public rallies at Barnai and Greater Kailash, as well as an intellectual meeting in Jammu, Nadda emphasized the necessity of a BJP government in the region for peace, prosperity, and development.
“NC and Congress are misleading the public with promises to restore Article 370,” Nadda asserted, adding that these parties are acting on Pakistan’s agenda, as stated by the Pakistani Defence Minister. He reiterated that Article 370 is a thing of the past, stating, “Today, there is one constitution, one flag, and one Prime Minister.” Nadda further claimed that “Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s dream has been fulfilled by PM Modi.”
He expressed confidence in BJP’s prospects in Jammu and Kashmir, saying, “There is a strong wave in favor of BJP, and we will form the next government.” Under PM Modi’s leadership, Nadda predicted that Jammu and Kashmir will become the most developed state in India, contributing to the country’s growth as the world’s third-largest economy.
Nadda accused the Congress, NC, and PDP of acting as “agents of Pakistan,” warning that they aim to recreate the tumultuous 1990s, during which thousands fell victim to terrorism. He declared that PM Modi has effectively crushed terrorism, asserting, “Any terrorist entering Jammu and Kashmir today doesn’t survive for more than a week.”
Concluding his address, Nadda urged the people of Jammu to vote for BJP candidates, emphasizing that “BJP is the guarantee of peace and development.” He also noted that the movement against Article 370 began under the leadership of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
Later in the evening, Nadda participated in a roadshow in Jammu city, starting from Parade Ground and passing through Moti Bazaar, Old Mandi, and Raghunath Temple.
