Srinagar, March 15: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday said that there is no current proposal to sanction the post of Tehsildar or other staff for Tehsil Office Bhella in Bhaderwah Constituency.
In a written reply to a question in the Legislative Assembly, the Revenue Department said that while Tehsils were announced for Changa Kilhotran and Chinta Bhalra in District Doda under Government Order No. Rev(S) 242 dated October 21, 2014, these were later put on hold through another government order in 2018. Subsequently, the State Administrative Council withdrew the order completely in July 2019, except for a few tehsils, including Bhella in Doda and Ramsu in Ramban.
The government said that there is no plan to operationalise tehsil offices in Changa Kilhotran or Chinta Bhalra at this stage. The Revenue Department also said that there is no proposal under consideration for a fresh delimitation of Patwar Halqas in the Bhaderwah constituency.
