Pulwama, Feb 26: On Monday, the serene village of Ladhoo in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district reverberated with the chants and hymns in honor of the mystic saint, Swami Jeevan Sahib, on the occasion of his Nirvan Diwas.
Devotees from far and wide gathered at the revered Swami Jeewan Sahib (Dhooni Sahib) Mandir to pay homage and seek blessings.
Organized by the Swami Jeewan Sahib Mandir Prabandhak Trust Ladhoo, the event witnessed a fervent display of devotion as devotees performed pooja archana at the holy shrine.
The atmosphere was filled with spiritual fervor as religious discourses and Bhajan Kirtan resonated through the air, elevating the souls of all present.
Following the rituals, devotees were graciously served prashad, symbolizing the sanctity and communal harmony of the occasion.
The Trust received accolades for its unwavering commitment to safeguarding religious sites, fostering a spirit of unity among communities, and preserving the rich heritage of Kashmir.
Pandit Ravi Ji Bhat, the General Secretary of the Trust, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support of the majority community and highlighted the pivotal role of the government, particularly the Department of Tourism and other relevant authorities, in the preservation and development of religious sites.
In a gesture of gratitude, the Trust extended heartfelt appreciation to the District Administration, specifically the Revenue and Police Departments, for their vigilant efforts in safeguarding the religious heritage sites of the area.
The culmination of the event was marked by a collective prayer for universal peace and prosperity, resonating with the eternal message of Swami Jeevan Sahib, whose teachings continue to inspire harmony and spiritual enlightenment across borders and communities.
