NIA team visits twin blast sites at Narwal

Jammu, Jan 22: The team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) Sunday visited the site where twin blasts took place on Saturday morning at Transport Nagar area of Narwal in Jammu injuring nine  people.
“The NIA team visited the twin blast sites at Transport Nagar, Narwal today morning,” SHO Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, Nayat Ali informed Rising Kashmir. The SHO however, did not divulge further details but sources said that the NIA team inspected the entire area which was sealed and cordoned.
The NIA team also questioned some people. A special team of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) also visited the twin blast sites and collected evidence from the spot. The FSL has also collected requisite evidence from the blast sites to ascertain the kind of blast.  
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent (MS), Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H), Jammu, Rajinder Bhutyal said that all the nine injured in the twin blasts are still in the hospital.
“All the nine injured are still admitted in the GMC and are undergoing treatment,” the Medical Superintendent informed Rising Kashmir adding, “there is no critical injury to any of the injured and they are responding to the treatment”.  
Nine persons were injured in the two (blasts which took place within a short distance of 50 meters in Transport Nagar area of Narwal.
