Srinagar, Dec 10: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday announced Rs 40 lakh cash reward for information for four terrorists of The Resistance Front (TRF) including two Pak residents.
As per the poster released by NIA, the agency has announced Rs 10 lakh reward against each of the four TRF terrorists including Basit Ahmed Dar, Salem Rehmani Saifullah Sajid Jatt, Sajjad Gul. Two of the terrorists Rehmani and Jatt are residents of Pakistan.
The NIA has given its email address, phone numbers and WhatsApp and Telegram numbers as well for the public to share the information. It has assured people that the identity of the informer shall be kept secret.
An official at NIA said that agency is looking for these terrorists in a case registered on 18 November 2021. The case pertains to the conspiracy hatched for violent activities, the radicalization of youth, and recruitment in terrorism, he said.
“All four are wanted by the NIA in connection with a case registered in the year 2021 regarding a conspiracy hatched for radicalizing, motivating, and recruiting youths of Jammu and Kashmir to effect violent activities in the Union Territory and the rest of India,” he said.
The case was registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
