Kishtwar, Dec 14: Dulhasti Power Station on Wednesday organised a painting competition on National Energy Conservation Day under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav for the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Dulhasti Power Station, Kishtwar.
The topic was “Energy Conservation” and the students participated enthusiastically in the competition and made it successful by making colorful and knowledgeable paintings.
On the occasion, M.K. Kashyap, Group General Manager (In-Charge), Dulhasti Power Station while addressing the students said they have set a good example of their creativity and awareness through the painting competition. He also made the participants aware of the importance of energy conservation. Later on, he distributed prizes among the winners. All participants were encouraged by consolation prizes.
Manoj Kumar, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya Dulhasti Power Station, Kishtwar expressed gratitude to NHPC for organising the painting competition. Dr. R P Singh, Group Dy General Manager (HR), Ashok Kumar Dhanwal, Senior Manager (HR), other officers, employees of NHPC and school teachers were present.
