Two gamblers held in Sopore, Stake money seized

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday  have arrested two gamblers in Batsuna village of North Kashmir's Sopore.

As per police spokesperson, "Based on a specific input, a gambling site in the orchards of village Batsuma was raided by a team of Police Station Dangiwacha, and arrested two gamblers."
 
"They have been identified as Irshad Ahmad Shah S/O Muhammad Yousuf Shah and  Javaid Ahmad Shah S/O Abdul Razak Shah both the residents of Batsuma Rafiabad", he added.
 
"Stake money Rs 15000, playing cards and a mobile phone were recovered from the gambling site.site"
 
Adding to it, he said that in this regard case FIR No. 67/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Dangiwacha.
