Traffic halted on Srinagar-Jammu highway due to shooting stones

Traffic movement was halted on Srinagar-Jammu highway on Wednesday evening due to shooting stones in the Ramban area, officials said.
Taking to a micro blogging site, SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma informed," Shooting stones at Mehar. Traffic halted both sides. Will resume after clearance. Travel cautiously."
The Srinagar-Jammu highway is the only major surface link connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country.
