Sub-District Hospital Beerwah gets digital X-ray facility

Budgam, Apr 05: Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Beerwah in central Kashmir's Budgam district has introduced its first digital X-ray facility to enhance patient care in the hospital. "The installation of digital X-ray facilities in the hospital will greatly benefit patients. Previously, patients had to go to private clinics for digital X-rays at high rates," she said. Dr Javid Ahmad Ganie, Block Medical Officer Beerwah, confirmed the successful installation of digital X-ray facilities in the hospital. This will bring relief to over 1 lakh people from 79 villages, he said. "Patients will no longer need to go to the private sector for digital X-rays," he said. Muntha Manzoor, a female patient, informed Rising Kashmir that the digital X-ray machine had been a long-awaited demand of patients from various villages in the Beerwah sub-division
