Encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Awhatto area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Tuesday.
Kashmir Zone Police tweeted: "#Encounter has started at Ahwatoo area of #Kulgam. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.
