Police arrests four drug peddlers in Sopore, Psychotropic substance recovered

Continuing its efforts against drug peddling, Sopore Police arrested four peddlers and recovered Psychotropic substances.
A Police spokesperson said, "On July 15, a police party of Police Station Tarzoo, while on naka duty at railway crossing Amargarh, apprehended four persons who had attempted to avoid the police party in a suspicious manner. "
On personal search, 984 tablets of SPASMOPROXYVON Plus were recovered from their possession. The persons have been identified as:Zubair Ahmad Ganie S/O Ghulam Muhammad R/O Badambagh Sopore, Junaid Ahmad Shah S/O Ghulam Nabi R/O Neharpora Sopore, Muhammad Asif Mir S/O Mushtaq Ahmad R/O Shalpora Sopore and Rouf Ahmad Chopan S/O Muhammad Subhan R/O Lolab Kupwara.
In relation to this, case FIR No. 61/2023 under relevant sections of law registered in Police Station Tarzoo and investigation initiated.
