MeT predicts snowfall in Kashmir from 22 Jan

The Meteorological (MeT) department on Monday said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snow over the plains from 22 January in Kashmir.

 

 

In a tweet, MeT said, "Weather is likely to be cloudy with chances of light rain or snow over higher reaches from 19 to 21 January.”

 

 

"Possibility of light to moderate Snow/(rain in Jmu) in plains and moderate Snow over middle & higher reaches most likely during 22Night-24th(F/N)[60% chance]", it said

People living in snowbound Areas are once again advised to remain alert & cautious while venturing in areas which are vulnerable to Snow Avalanche.

•Moderate to dense fog most likely in plains of Jammu till 18th January
