Goals from Amit Rohidas (12′) and Hardik Singh (26′) helped India begin their Hockey World Cup campaign with a 2-0 win over Spain in Odisha’s Rourkela on Friday.
India start their World Cup 2023 campaign against Spain at 7 PM in Rourkela on Friday.
This is the second consecutive time India, indeed Odisha, are hosting the Hockey World Cup.Earlier, India had hosted the World Cup in 2018 in Odisha's Bhubaneswar.
