Dr Tasaduk attends scientific program on diabetes management; meets up top medicos

Kashmir-based medico cum noted columnist Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo attended a scientific session on recent breakthroughs in diabetes management here in Srinagar.
While talking about the program, Dr Itoo said that it was an impressive gathering and a great learning experience knowing about the recent advances in diabetes management and obesity (which are occurring as a syndemic during current times) with emphasizing on the role of oral semaglutide(a glucose-lowering drug) -- a novel approach in addressing the multiple risk factors for diabetes.
"It was great listening to highly informative lectures regarding the topic of some ace medico endocrinologists - like Professor Abdul Hamid Zargar, Professor Shariq Rashid Masoodi and Dr. Moomin Hussain Bhat", he said.
Dr Itoo also met some top medicos including renowned scientists like Professor M S Khuroo, Professor Syed Amin Tabish and discussed on various aspects of healthcare and management with special emphasis on doctor-patient relationship.
"It was indeed an honor to met all of them and share ideas and gain worthy advices from them", he added.
