Cold wave continues to grip Kashmir despite slight improvement in Night temp

The freezing temperatures continue to grip the Kashmir valley. According to the Meteorological Department, Srinagar, there will be no significant change in the weather until December 26. As per the data recorded by the Indian Meteorological Department, Srinagar has recorded a temperature of -4.5 degree Celsius on Wednesday slight improvement than the previous night. Pahalgam , recorded a temperature of minus 5.8 degree Celsius today, saw a marginal rise in temperature. Kokernag recorded a sharp drop in temperature of minus 2.8 degree Celsius. The Indian Meteorologist Department, (MeT Centre Srinagar) , forecasts Coldwave over plains of Jammu and Kashmir from 18th of December to 22nd of December.
