Avalanche warning issued in ten districts of J&K

An avalanche warning has been issued for the next 24 hours in ten districts of Jammu and Kashmir, state's disaster management authority said.
The spokesperson of JKDMA said, "Avalanche with medium danger level is likely to occur above 2200 to 2500 metres over Anantnag, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Baramulla, Kupwara, Doda, Kishtwar, Kulgam, Poonch & Ramban districts in next 24 hours."
"People living in these areas are advised to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas", he said.
