Amid fresh snowfall Authorities issue avalanche warning in J&K

Jammu and Kashmir State Disaster Management Authority on Wednesday issued avalanche warning in Seven districts of Jammu and Kashmir in the wake of fresh snowfall in Valley.
According to a statement by SDMA, Avalanche with medium Danger Level is likely to occur above 2200 to 2250 metres over Ganderbal, Bandipora, Baramut, Kupwara, Doda, Kishtwar & Ramban districts in next 24 hours.
People living in these areas are advised to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas.
