Rafiabad Adbi Markaz & J&K Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages jointly organized an online poetic session on Sunday. The live session was organized on the official pages of both the academy and Raffiabad Adbi Markaz simultaneously.
The session began with the welcome speech presented by Mohammad Ashraf Tak, the chief editor of the cultural academy. In his speech, he highlighted the role of the literary organizations of the state in making the academy's online platform a great success which otherwise had been rendered handicapped by COVID-19 lockdown.
This was followed by the introductory speech by Dr Rafeeq Masoodi, the patron of Raffiabad Adbi Markaz. In his introductory note, he brought to the notice of the Cultural Academy the promise that the members of this grand organization hold in upholding and enriching the literary spectrum of the state.
The session was presided over by Shabnum Gulzar, a renowned poet. In his presidential address, he thanked the Cultural Academy for facilitating the event. He impressed upon its officials that while drafting the calendar of cultural activities the members of Rafiabad Adbi Markaz shall be given their legitimate space.
The session was moderated by Hassan Azhar, the general secretary of the Markaz with the technical support of Jameel Ansari of Cultural Academy, and Tariq Ahmad Tariq, the media secretary of Raffiabad Adbi Markaz.
The poets who participated in Sunday’s poetic session include Farooq Raffiabadi (president of Adbi Markaz Kamraz), Shabir Ahmad Shabir (president RAAM), Shabnum Gulzar, Mohammad Tawheedi, Hassan Azhar, Athar Farooq, Tariq Ahmad Tariq, Gh Mohd Dilgeer, Ramzan Jawhar, Qaazi Gulshan, Naseer Ahmad Naseer, Gul Mir, Mehraj Shaheen, Khushboo Khursheed, Shiekh Jurret, Prem Nath Prem and Tej Sagar.
