11.11 percent voter turnout recorded by 9 AM for the first phase of assembly elections in J&K

Srinagar, Sept 18 : A voter turnout of 11.11 percent has been recorded in J&K for the 24 assembly constituencies in the first phase of elections. According to the Election Commission of India, the voter turnout was 11.11 percent as of 9 AM. This is an approximate trend, as data from some Polling Stations (PS) takes time to be reported. Additionally, this figure does not include postal ballot voting. Notably, a total of 23.27 lakh voters are expected to exercise their franchise.
