Srinagar, Jan 24: This year’s Republic Day celebrations will hold special significance, marking the 75th anniversary of the Constitution of India coming into effect. The event will be made even more memorable by the presence of around 10,000 special guests from across the country, including approximately 120 achievers from Jammu and Kashmir and 70 from Ladakh, invited to witness the historic Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path in New Delhi.
The invited guests are individuals who have excelled in their respective fields, embodying the spirit of dedication and hard work that contributes to the nation’s growth. Among them are students, artisans, top performers under the PM-Vishwakarma Yojana, beneficiaries of the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, construction workers, residents of Vibrant Villages, and notable Water Warriors, among others.
These achievers represent inspiring stories of perseverance, courage, and nation-building, highlighting how determination can overcome any obstacle. Their contributions are seen as vital to the vision of a prosperous Swarnim Bharat.
For the invitees from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, this invitation is a recognition of their exceptional efforts. The Union Government has arranged special accommodations and logistical support to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience for these guests, leaving no stone unturned to make the occasion extraordinary.
The Government of India remains committed to acknowledging the achievements of citizens who play an integral role in shaping the country’s journey towards progress and prosperity.
