Nearly 1 kg IED recovered in Rajouri, second recovery in 6 days

Jammu, Jan 23: Nearly one kgImprovised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered from Dassal area of Rajouri late last night which was later diffused by the Army.
Sources said that on January 18, IED was also recovered from Chora area of Rajouri Town and some suspects had been detained for questioning.
“On January 18, Police recovered IED from Chora area of Rajouri,” SSP Rajouri, Mohd Aslam informed Rising Kashmir adding, “Some suspects were detained by the Police for questioning after going through the CCTV footage and on the basis of investigation in the matter”.
The SSP added, “On the basis of disclosures from the suspects during questioning and after going through CCTV footages, around 1 kg IED was recovered from Dassal area of Rajouri. He said a major terror attack has been foiled with the recovery of IED.
The IED was diffused by the Army. Seven innocent civilians were killed by the terrorists in Dhangri village of Rajouri District, while fourteen others were injured in the most horrific terror attack on January 1and 2 which shamed the entire humanity.
