Srinagar, Feb 26: The National Conference (NC) on Wednesday shared parliamentary records from 1990, revealing that the founder of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) – Mufti Muhammad Sayeed – was instrumental in introducing the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) bill.
In a post on X, NC spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar shared the parliamentary records that show PDP founder, who was Union Home Minister, had introduced the Armed Forces Special Powers Act(AFSPA) bill in the House.
“A gentle reminder to @jkpdp that seems to have forgotten the service its founder rendered to the people of Kashmir. Everyone else read this well and remember who introduced AFSPA bill in parliament ib 1990,” Imran posted. (KNS)
