Kulgam, Aug 23: J&K National Conference (NC) senior leader Sakina Itoo filed her nomination from Damhal Hanjipora (D H Pora) on Friday morning.
Itoo was accompanied by former chief minister Omar Abdullah and other senior leaders as she submitted her nomination papers to the Returning Officer (RO) at the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) office in D H Pora.
Itoo has won the constituency twice, once in 1996 and again in 2008; however, she lost the previous election in 2014 to then PDP’s Abdul Majeed Padder.
