Jammu, Jan 24: A delegation led by Former Minister and President Central Zone Babu Ram Paul Tuesday participated in the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ at Nagrota which proceeded towards Kashmir.
The National Conference has supported Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and on its arrival at Lakhanpur, Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah reached the gateway of Jammu and Kashmir to receive the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
While reaching Jammu on Monday, the Central Zone led by its President Babu Ram Paul welcomed the participants of the yatra by serving them tea and snacks at Digiana and later participated in the programme organized at Satwari.
As the Bharat Jodo Yatra was to leave for Kashmir from Nagrota this morning a delegation led by President Central Zone reached at Nagrota bypass this morning—the place from where Bharat Jodo Yatra was to start.
The members of the delegation marched with Rahul Gandhi upto Nagrota and wished him good health and good luck to accomplish the initiative started by him to spread the message of love, brotherhood and communal harmony.
Rahul Gandhi thanked the party leadership and workers of the National Conference for their kind love and support in Jammu.
