Srinagar, June 08: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and In Charge Constituency Khanyar Ali Muhammad Sagar on Saturday paid obeisance at the revered Shrine of Hazrat Muhammad Amin Mantaqi Owaisi Naqshbandi (RA) at Aalikadal following his annual Urs observance.
On the occasion, Sagar prayed for lasting peace and prosperity in the region. He was joined by a number of the party’s local unit functionaries on the occasion.
Meanwhile, senior leader and State Women’s Wing President and In Charge Constituency Haba Kadal Shameema Firdous visited the Khanqah-e-Moula to take stock of the arrangements being made to facilitate devotees during the annual Urs observance of Hazrat Amir-e-Kabir Mir Syed Ali Hamadani (RA).
On the occasion, she had detailed interaction with the Shrine management and the Auqaf representatives. She asked the SMC authorities to deploy sufficient manpower at the Shrine to ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness in and around the Shrine.
Shameema called for making adequate arrangements for transport and parking facilities. She asked the concerned officials to make all street lights functional and make proper arrangements for fire extinguishers at the venue.
The NC leader impressed upon the shrine management to work in tandem with Auqaf management and different line departments to ensure adequate arrangements for smooth observance of the Urs.
