Jammu, May 07: Rattan Lal Gupta, National Conference Provincial President Jammu on Tuesday nominated Vikram Puri as Chairman Traders and Industrialists (JKNC wing) Jammu Province with the approval of the party’s high command.
According to a statement issued here, Gupta hoped that Puri will ensure close coordination with the traders and industrialists to highlight their general issues and strengthen the party.
Vikram Puri thanked the party’s high command and provincial president for the new assignment and responsibility as Chairman of the Traders and Industrialists (JKNC wing) Jammu Province and assured that he will work hard with great dedication and cooperation for the development of Trades and Industries in J&K.
Puri appealed to the traders and industrialists of Jammu and Kashmir to strengthen the hands of Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah by supporting and voting all three candidates of the National Conference from the Kashmir Valley – Omar Abdullah from Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency, Aga Syed Rahullah Mehdi from Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency and Mian Altaf Ahmed from Anantnag- Rajouri Parliamentary Constituency – in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls in Kashmir.
