Jammu, Feb 28 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President, J P Nadda is set to arrive in Jammu on Saturday to chair a crucial workshop for the party’s Jammu and Kashmir MLAs in Katra. The session will focus on finalising the party’s strategy for the upcoming budget session.
“Nadda is scheduled to reach Katra at 2 pm, and all BJP MLAs have been directed to attend the Legislative Party meeting chaired by the National President,” BJP MLA Vikram Randhawa told Rising Kashmir.
Following the Legislative Party meeting, Nadda will also chair a party organizational review session with BJP’s J&K leadership. The discussion will focus on evaluating the party’s progress in Jammu & Kashmir, assessing past organisational programmes and planning for upcoming BJP initiatives in the region.
The party leaders have been instructed to present a detailed report card on their organisational work and achievements, another BJP leader said.
Ahead of Nadda’s arrival, key BJP figures—including BL Santosh (National General Secretary – Organisation), Tarun Chugh (National General Secretary & J&K Incharge), and other senior leaders—held discussions with BJP MLAs regarding the upcoming budget session’s strategy.
All 28 BJP MLAs have been directed to be present at the meeting on Saturday. Three MPs, including two Lok Sabha members and Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Ali Khatana, have also been instructed to attend.
