Budgam, Aug 09: District Budgam Ball Badminton Association in collaboration with J&K Ball Badminton Association successfully concluded District Budgam Ball Badminton Championship 2024-25 under “My Youth My Pride” Initiative of J&K Sports Council at Green View Public High School Magam Budgam. The two days tournament was sponsored by J&K Sports Council and organized by District Budgam Ball Badminton Association.
The awards distribution ceremony among the winners and Runner-Up teams marked the end of the two-day Championship. 13 teams took part in the competition with overwhelming participation of 145 player’s from different Schools/Colleges/Institutions & Clubs of District Budgam.
Farooq Ahmad Paul Lecturer Physical Education at Govt.Boys Higher Secondary school Magam Budgam served as the chief guest during the concluding function and Mukhtar Ahmad Wani Principal of Green View Public school Magam Budgam & General Secretary Budgam Ball Badminton Association were the Guest of Honours, distributed medals to the winning and Runner-Up teams.
Recognizing the sports talent displayed by the budding players, Farooq Ahmad Paul and Mukhtar Ahmad Wani encouraged participants to focus on their game and strive to bring laurels for J&K. They expressed gratitude to the District Budgam Ball Badminton Association & J&K Ball Badminton Association for providing an opportunity for players from the Budgam district to participate in the championship.
