Katra, Dec 16: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (SMVDNSH) organized a training program regarding benefits of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) scheme which was facilitated by the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, J&K and Ladakh, Rizwan Uddin at Sanjeevani Auditorium.
As many as 200 officers, nurses, paramedical staff and students attended the session. Rizwan Uddin, who was welcomed by Unit HR Head Arvind Mahajan with a bouquet of flowers, briefed the participants about the benefits of the EPF Scheme like the Employee Pension Scheme 1995 (EPS-95) as well as the Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI). He informed the participants about the salient features of the employees’ deposit-linked insurance scheme 1976. Under this scheme, a maximum assured benefit of up to Rs 7 lakh is paid to the nominee or legal heir of an EPF member if death occurs while in service he added. He also shed some light on pension schemes.
The RPF Commissioner encouraged the participants to follow their passion by setting smart goals and time management and shared the mantra to achieve the goals timely. He asked the staff to be focused by sharing a quote “Enjoy wherever you are as uncertainty is certain”.
Rizwan Uddin concluded the session by urging the organized workers to come forward and avail the benefits of PF schemes. Facility Director, Mr. Muthu Mathavan facilitated Mr. Rizwan with a memento of appreciation for organizing such a “wonderful” training program.
