Srinagar, Jan 31: Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, asserted on Wednesday that the Modi government has successfully reconstructed Jammu and Kashmir, bringing an end to the era of terrorism and violence. In a series of posts on “X” alongside ‘Pragatisheel Jammu Kashmir’, Shah highlighted the positive changes instilled by the Modi government, fostering a renewed sense of hope among the youth.
Shah credited the significant move of abolishing Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. This action, he emphasized, played a crucial role in curbing terrorism and separatism, ushering in a new era of peace in the region.
Highlighting the impact of government policies, Shah noted a notable transformation in the perspective of the youth in Jammu and Kashmir. He stated, “Presently, the focus of the youth has shifted from joining separatist movements to actively participating in the development of the region.”
The Union Home Minister highlighted the longstanding challenges of terrorism and extremism in Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that the Modi government’s efforts provided much-needed respite. The abolition of Article 370, according to Shah, played a pivotal role in establishing peace and stability, paving the way for development and prosperity in the valley.
Shah also underscored the positive impact of the Modi government’s restoration of the Panchayati Raj system. He claimed that this move has not only strengthened democratic roots but has also empowered the common people with governance, ushering in a new era of development across the entire region.
