Srinagar, May 25: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq Monday distributed remote-controlled wheelchairs and computers among specially-abled individuals and deserving youth, particularly young girls, across the Zadibal constituency.
Tanvir personally handed over the assistance items to the beneficiaries, spending time with families and listening to their stories with compassion and warmth.
Speaking on the occasion, Tanvir said,“Eid is not merely a festival of celebration; it is a festival of compassion, humanity, and shared happiness. True joy lies in bringing comfort to those who silently struggle and ensuring that every home has a reason to smile.”
He emphasized that caring for specially-abled persons and underprivileged families is not an act of charity alone, but a moral and social responsibility that every compassionate society must uphold.
Reaffirming his commitment to public welfare, he assured that such humanitarian initiatives would continue regularly throughout the Zadibal constituency.
Tanvir further revealed that he dedicates a portion of his personal salary towards procuring essential items for deserving individuals, saying that no achievement in public life brings greater satisfaction than easing the hardships of people in need.
The beneficiaries and their family members expressed deep gratitude for the timely support, describing the gesture as a blessing ahead of Eid and appreciating Tanvir for personally reaching out to them with dignity, care, and empathy.
