MLA Yudhvir Sethi urges youth to avail benefits of central schemes

Jammu, Jan 05: Yudhvir Sethi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and MLA East Constituency, organized a rozgar mela here. The event witnessed the participation of representatives from various multinational companies, marking a significant step towards addressing the employment concerns of the constituency’s youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Sethi emphasised the importance of creating opportunities for young people and equipping them with the tools to achieve self-reliance. “This Rozgar Mela is a testament to our commitment to ensuring that the youth of East Constituency have access to meaningful employment opportunities. We are determined to bridge the gap between job seekers and potential employers, fostering a brighter future for our younger generation,” he said in a statement issued here.
The MLA lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his “visionary” leadership, highlighting how the Central government’s initiatives have been instrumental in creating a conducive environment for employment generation. He urged the youth to actively participate in and benefit from the plethora of centrally sponsored schemes designed to enhance skill development, entrepreneurship, and job creation.
“The Central government under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched transformative programs like Skill India, Startup India, and the PM Mudra Yojana. I urge the youth of East Constituency to come forward and take full advantage of these schemes to realize their potential and contribute to nation-building,” he added.
Sethi assured the gathering of his unwavering commitment to addressing local concerns. He promised to continue working tirelessly to bring similar employment-oriented initiatives to the constituency. “This Rozgar Mela is just the beginning. We are planning to organize more such events and workshops to equip our youth with the skills and opportunities they need to excel in today’s competitive world,” he affirmed.
The event concluded with participating companies shortlisting several candidates for various roles, giving a direct impetus to the employment drive.
