MLA Lone lays foundation stone of school building in Hajin

Bandipora, Feb 22: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Sonawari, Advocate Hilal Akbar Lone on Saturday laid the foundation stone for a new six-room double-storey school building at Secondary School Vijpara Hajin.
The MLA accompanied by Executive Engineer R&B Sumbal Mushtaq Ahmad and other concerned officials laid the foundation stone in the presence of Chairman, District Development Council Abdul Gani Bhat.
Giving details, ExEn R&B Sumbal said the construction of the new six-room double-storey building is being undertaken with an estimated cost of Rs 80 lakh.

Giving details, ExEn R&B Sumbal said the construction of the new six-room double-storey building is being undertaken with an estimated cost of Rs 80 lakh.
He said work for Rs 75.45 lakh has been advertised, with Rs 59.95 lakh already allotted for the execution of the project.
MLA Lone also inspected various ongoing infrastructure projects in the area, assessing their physical progress. He urged the concerned departments and executing agencies to ensure the timely completion of these works, emphasising the importance of adhering to set deadlines.
Later, the MLA interacted with residents, listened to their grievances, and assured them that their genuine issues will be addressed on priority.
