MLA Lone for timely irrigation facilities for farmers in Sumbal

Bandipora, Feb 18: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Sonawari Constituency, Advocate Hilal Akbar Lone on Tuesday conducted an extensive tour of various areas of Sumbal Sub-division to assess the preparation ahead of irrigation season.
The MLA, accompanied by Exen I&FC Sumbal, Mutayib Bashir, Exen MID Shadipora and other concerned, visited various areas including MID Shadipora, Wasikhan, Prang, Asham, Madwan, Rakhi Hajin and other areas.
During the visit, he discussed the progress of irrigation infrastructure and assessed the condition of canals and water distribution systems. Lone also interacted with locals and officials to address any concerns or challenges.
The MLA urged the concerned departments to take proactive measures for maintenance of irrigation system throughout the season. He stressed the importance of timely and efficient irrigation facilities to support agriculture and the livelihood of farmers.
