Ganderbal, Sep 06: A meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) under Mission YUVA was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore on Saturday.
As per a statement issued here, the aim of the meeting was to review and approve applications submitted by young aspiring entrepreneurs under the Mission YUVA initiative, which aims to provide financial assistance and capacity-building support to youth for starting and sustaining their businesses so that they can earn their livelihood.
During the meeting, the committee held a threadbare discussion on the applications received under the scheme and after careful scrutiny and discussions, the Committee approved 96 eligible cases for further financial support and guidance. Cluster Head J&K Bank was directed to ensure timely processing and quick disbursement of sanctioned cases to benefit the youth entrepreneurs at the earliest.
