A girl child died in a road accident after being hit by an auto load carrier in Damhal Hanjipora of Kulgam district on Friday afternoon, officials said.
An official identified her as Zaira Hussain (5) daughter of Mohammad Hussain Shah a resident of DK Marag Lalpora.
“The girl child was brought dead to the hospital,” an official said.
Police have taken cognizance of the accident. And after medical legal formalities, she was handed over to the family, a police official said.
