Srinagar, Oct 09: A group of youth from Gawkadal downtown under the banner of “Paerwan e Rehbar” on the occasion of Eid-Miladun-Nabi setup a stall in the area to offer water and kawha to the people in the area.
Speaking to Rising Kashmir, one of the organizer, Sameer Bhat, said that on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Miladun-Nabi, they came with a stall in the area and were offering water and other things to people.
Bhat said that “the stall will continue to function for a week and will continue to provide the water and kewha in traditional cups made by Mud.”
Another organiser said that on every special occasion, the youth of this area set up such stalls to offer what they can efforts to giv to the people.
In response to a question, the organisers stated that it is just a group of 15 youth who are organising everything, and that no one is funding them or collecting money from anyone.
“Our aim is to provide what else we can do by ourselves.” We have been organising such events for many years in the locality and will continue to organise such events to provide assistance to people during this special occasion.
