MeT Predicts Dry Weather in Jammu and Kashmir till March 9

Srinagar, March 05: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather advisory for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting a spell of rain and snow from March 10 to 14.

According to the forecast, the weather will remain generally dry till March 9. However, from March 10 to 11, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snow in the higher reaches at many places.

The weather will turn generally cloudy on March 12, followed by a spell of rain and snow on March 13 and 14.

In view of the weather forecast, the authorities have advised travelers, tourists, and transporters to follow the administrative and traffic advisory.

Farmers have been advised to continue their farm operations till March 9.

Additionally, people have been warned to avoid sloppy and avalanche-prone areas to ensure their safety.
