On Sunday,  Gulmarg recorded 13.5 °C as the minimum and 1.2 °C as the maximum temperature.  It was the coldest place in Kashmir. Srinagar recorded 9.1 °C  maximum temperature and minus 0.6°C as the minimum temperature.
Independent weather forecaster, Faizan Arif Keng said night temperature in Gulmarg has dropped to minus 13.5 degree Celsius, which is the second-lowest temperature in the month of February in the past one decade.
Earlier, on 7 February 2019, the night temperature dropped to minus 14.2 degrees Celsius, which is the lowest night temperature in the month of February in a decade, he said.

“C-N Tunnel closed for 04 hours 19 mins by Tunnel authority, making the total blockage of 05 hours 19 mins. There was slow movement on NH-44 due to the breakdown of 04 HMVs between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel,” he said.
As per the traffic advisory issued by the traffic department for Monday, subject to fair weather and better road condition, LMVs(passengers) shall be allowed from both sides of Jammu-Srinagar NHW viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa.
“TCU Jammu/Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic, it said.
