Mehbooba Mufti who some years back had created history by being the first women chief Minister of erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir. But her decline like her rise has been fast. After the much needed abrogation of article 370 her thinking power has attained lowest levels. She seems to be angry women without any progressive thoughts. She talks often against peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.

As we know Kashmir now has coined the history in a positive sense by organizing biggest event of its history in the form of G20 Tourism meet, Mehbooba Mufti is acting as sore loser. “To tell you the truth, if you visit Kashmir today you will see that the place which was converted to an open-air prison (following the abrogation of Article 370) has been converted to ‘Guantanamo’… Even houses have been taken over. Homes have been taken over. There is three-, four-, five-tier security… Everything at homes is being turned upside down,” the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader said at a news conference in Bengaluru on Sunday.

Such stinking thoughts are her frustration and nothing else. She should take pride that once known for negative things like terror and mayhem, the valley is now known as positivity hub translating into a destination hosting world famous G20.

Mehbooba Mufti should open her eyes to ground changing facts. We all now know that: Film tourism has emerged as a powerful medium to promote the tourism industry and the government is chalking out a comprehensive strategy for its growth in Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said on Monday. He said tourism helps in creating employment opportunities in hospitality and gastronomy.

The expert pulse of nation is that with India officially adopting the G-20 chairmanship in December, 2022, Jammu and Kashmir is getting a chance to exhibit its market prospects, eco-tourism ventures, and cultural assets to the leading global nations. The G-20 also offers a chance to the administration of Jammu & Kashmir to consolidate the benefits claimed to have resulted from repealing Article 370.

As Arshia Malik had in Swarajya Magazine rightly pointed out that, “agenda groups and the vulture activists like who thrive on Muslim blood being shed in communal riots, mob violence and terror incidents do not like the fact that Kashmir has been at its most stable in years. The G20 working group meeting is not just about showcasing the peace and culture of the region but also about employment, developing infrastructure, establishing coordination between various departments, and holding the offices of the Government of India accountable to the people of Kashmir.; which clearly the Muslim League 2.0 adherent will not want since it doesn’t fit their Muslim victim narrative. “

Mehbooba Mufti should rise from her rabid propaganda and know that G-20 chief coordinator Harsh Vardhan Shringla said that the meeting in Srinagar has received over whelming response from the member countries, whose delegates are attending the meeting here.

“Compared to earlier meetings on tourism held in Gujarat and Siliguri, more delegates are attending the meeting here…for various logistical reasons it is not possible to some countries to attend the meeting,” said Shringla. The officials said that the highest number of delegates attending the meeting will be from Singapore and there will be significant participation from US and UK as well.

Time is ripe for Mehbooba Mufti to stop her propaganda rather than getting consumed by hate.
