Medical officer, Dental surgeon among five suspended in Kupwara

The authorities on Monday suspended two doctors among five medical employees for their unauthorised absence at the Public Health Center (PHC) Gushi, in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

 

 

As per the order issued by Block Medical Officer, Kupwara, the Medical Officer, Dental Surgeon, Pharmacist, Male Nurse, and FMPHW were put under suspicion for their unauthorised absence, and an inquiry has been ordered into the matter.

 

 

An order issued by the BMO Kupwara, reads, “During the surprise visit of Worthy District Development Commissioner Kupwara to PHC Gushie at around 3pm, the below mentioned employees were found absent from their legitimate duties and are hereby suspended till pending enquiry.Furthermore, pay for the month of January 2023 shall be kept withheld till further directions from higher ups.”
