A massive fire broke out in the Jalal Sahib area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, engulfing multiple residential houses and causing widespread damage.
According to officials, the fire started in one of the houses and quickly spread to nearby structures, creating panic among residents. Upon receiving the distress call, teams from the police and fire services, including fire tenders from Old Town Baramulla, Sopore, and Baramulla Command Sopore, rushed to the scene.
As per initial reports, fire fighters have managed to bring the blaze under partial control, but efforts are still ongoing to fully douse the flames. Further details regarding casualties and property loss are awaited.
