Martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Sadiq (AS) commemorated in Budgam

Srinagar, Apr 24: The annual Hussaini gathering marked the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Sadiq (AS) at Grand Clifton, Budgam, drawing thousands of faithful believers.
Organized by the Anjuman e Shari Shian  Jammu and Kashmir, the event honoured the sixth Imam, Hazrat Imam Ja’far Sadiq (AS), with central speakers reflecting on his scholarly achievements and character.
During the solemn assembly, ‘Hujjat al-Islam Wal-Muslimeen’ Agha Syed Hasan al-Mousavi al-Safawi highlighted Hazrat Imam Ja’far Sadiq’s significant contributions to Islamic knowledge and enlightenment, saying that under his guidance, Muslims flourished in Islamic sciences and divine understanding, establishing the foundations for the community’s spiritual growth throughout history.
The gathering also remembered Imam Sadiq’s unwavering commitment to the revival of religion and law, acknowledging his invaluable services and sacrifices. Agha Syed Hasan emphasised the profound impact of Imam Sadiq’s era, describing it as a period of unparalleled knowledge and enlightenment in Islamic history.
Additionally, the assembly paid tribute to Imam Ali Reza’s visionary leadership, particularly his meticulous observation of governmental policies to uphold Islamic law. His principled stance against violations of Islamic principles at the governmental level ultimately led to his martyrdom.
The event concluded with prayers for the continued guidance and inspiration drawn from the legacies of Imam Sadiq and Imam Ali Reza, reaffirming their enduring influence on the Muslim community
