Udhampur, Jan 11: A felicitation ceremony was organized for all the sarpanches of district Udhampur at the Dogra Kranti Dal (NGO) office.
On the occasion, Dogra Kranti Dal chief patron, BJP leader and former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia felicitated 157 Sarpanches with a letter of appreciation. Sarpanchs expressed gratitude towards DKD and Mankotia for the felicitation ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, Mankotia said he appreciates the social service of sarpanchs towards the welfare of society. It is our responsibility to work day and night for the people, he added
SHO Udhampur Raghubir Singh was the special guest. Several Sarpanchs and social activists were also present.
