Commissioner Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Mandeep Kaur, today conducted an extensive tour of Katra town, visiting various locations to assess progress on development works being executed by Katra Municipal Committee.
The Commissioner Secretary was accompanied by District Development Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan, ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal, Director Urban Local Bodies Jammu, Punit Sharma, SDM Katra and EO Municipal Committee Katra and other officers.
He elaborately discussed multi pronged strategies for further development of municipal infrastructure besides streamlining urban planning undertakings. He reviewed the ongoing projects, discussed strategies to enhance civic services, improve infrastructure resilience and ensure sustainability of urban growth in Katra.
