Budgam, April 02: The man eater Leopard who killed two minor girls in Khansahib tehsil in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district has been killed after getting permission from wildlife department.
An official from the wildlife department confirmed to Rising Kashmir that a man-eating leopard has been killed between Harwani and Samsan village.
“The Chief Wildlife Warden of Jammu and Kashmir has authorized the Budgam police to take necessary action if the man-eating leopard is sighted in the area. The aim is to capture the leopard alive without endangering any human lives,” the official said.
He said this man-eating leopard has become very dangerous for human lives. As this leopard has mauled to death two minor girls have injured another minor boy in three different incidents of the Hariwani and samsan villages of the Khansahib tehsil.
