In a pre-dawn fire mishap, a man perished to death while another was injured in the Solina area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday early morning, officials said.
An official told Rising Kashmir, that two brothers who were in an unsound state suffered burn injuries during the pre-dawn fire incident in Solina.
The dead individual was identified as Manzoor Ahmad Najar (62) S/o Abdul Karim Najar and the injured was identified as Feroz Ahmad Najar S/o Abdul Karim Najar, both residents of Solina Bala.
The authorities mentioned that the SDRF team rescued them from the debris, and they were subsequently transferred to SMHS hospital for treatment.
However, doctors declared Manzoor Ahmad Najar as brought dead, while the condition of Feroz Ahmad Najar is reported to be stable.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and investigation is ongoing in this regard. (RK)
