Man dies after falling from electric pole in Budgam

Budgam, May 28: A 30-year-old man died after he fell from a pole while repairing a television cable in the Humhama area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday.
An official from the Police Post Humhama told the Rising Kashmir that a man from Razwan village of the Budgam district was repairing the television cable in the Humhama area, after losing his balance on the pole, he fell to the ground and got injured.
“He was rushed to JVC hospital in Srinagar for the treatment where doctors declared him dead on the arrival,” an official said.
He has been identified by the Police as Nissar Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Rasool Dar, 30 years of age, and a resident of Razwan Budgam.
